Job Description

Informiatech seeking a Mid-Level WordPress Developer responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes from scratch and plugins.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Execute coding of web-related projects.
- PSD to WordPress – Custom Theme Development
- Develop new sites and maintain existing sites with enhancements.
- Assist the Lead Developer in shaping and implementing the WordPress platform strategy for the business.
- Create bespoke plugins and develop modules for WordPress.
- Document technical and functional specifications.
- Communicate with different departments to resolve any vulnerabilities in the project.
- Ensure that we meet commercial 'go-live deadlines.
- Mentor junior developers when required.
- Other ad-hoc duties as required.

Skills Required

- Must have professional experience of at least 1.5 - 2 years or above in WordPress backend development / Theme Creation from Scratch. - Good knowledge of programming in Core PHP is required. - Good knowledge of Database design and writing SQL queries - Good knowledge of HTML, XHTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, AJAX, jQuery and PHP Frameworks - Excellent understanding of web frontend and WordPress themes - Proficient in creating responsive themes from SCRATCH, HTML to WordPress and PSD to WordPress - Must have the ability to create custom post types and custom fields. - Creation of clean, logical, well-documented, and re-usable code - Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and complete tasks on time - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
